The world now exists in cyberspace and its expanse is only on the rise. The COVID pandemic has only accelerated the pace of going ‘virtual’.

The thriving virtual communities are posing grave danger to naive and vulnerable teenagers. They need to be made aware and also armed with cyber safety and hygiene to navigate the online world safely without having their curiosity stunted.

Shine Cyber Safety Awareness Genius is an initiative to spread awareness among teenagers and empower them to be cyber safety geniuses. This olympiad is specifically designed to be taken by teenagers in grades 9th and 10th by Graposs Connect for Shine Olympiad.

Marking scheme

  • The Olympiad exam will have a total of 50 questions as per the table above.
  • 1 Mark shall be given for every correct answer.
  • There shall be no Negative marking.
  • Students shall be given 60 minutes to complete the test.
  • Percentile Ranks shall be given to all students.
  • Toppers shall be decided from the top percentile ranks on the basis of raw scores and time taken by the student to complete the exam.
